Cloning for the newest breeding program

Idk what's up.. I switched to bloom nutrients but kept them the same strength as grow but last night I noticed the signs of nitrogen excess... not a hard fix and I guess I can cut back and save time/$... but something I want to take care of asap before it has a negative effect on yield and/or increases leaf to flower ratio...

These guys are on the mend after a hell ride. 1st they were started with General Hydroponics 5kg coco bricks that are supposed to be low EC. IT IS NOT!!! ( I might as well have watered them with pickle juice) trying to flush it was just drowning them so I pulled them out rinsed them off (not enough) and put them in baskets in a cloner _ they came back like champs, but got root rot from being in the baskets and high water Temps in the cloner- so I pulled them out and stripped the roots down cutting out anything not white. Again they all came through it like champs. I moved them from my sprinkler system to the air stone setup, but a connection failed and it was a cpl days before I got back to them they were all flat and turning yellow and brown- I was going to trash everything but this is a side project to save my old genetics so I brought it home so I could keep an eye on it... these were the 5 out of 25 that survived. I wish I took pics I can't believe these things survived 1 is def a TM×PP maybe 2 and 2 are def TM View attachment 894View attachment 895 ultimately everything was my fault: too many balls in the air and making mistakes by being lazy. But these guys are survivors for sure
Its amazing how tough they are. Thats a string of bad luck, sounds like your due for some smooth sailing.

View attachment 932View attachment 933 Here is a few hrs short of day 6 (added a little bit of love: should have done it yesterday but didn't have time... But just short of 6 days with straight tap water @ 80F+ I think isn't bad- I don't have a good way to cool it where it is- but you have to make what you have work. So if you haven't been cloning because everyone made it sound difficult- start clipping... don't get me wrong it might be as easy as clipping and sticking in water- I do some other stuff like feed it a specific amount of goodies in the day(s) and hrs before clipping and I cut it at a specific spot then slice it another, scrape the stem etc.... but other then that for the 1st 6days they got nothing but tap water and 80+
Sorry I'm bombing your thread, trying to catch up.
I have no cloning experience, I will have to give it a go.

Ya that was a cluster F*<& and really sucked since I was trying to preserve them: there were a cpl phenos either superior flavor or looks ( every pheno has been a keeper) but I really want them back and I haven't found them yet... I just hope they weren't in the 20 that got tossed or killed- I took some clones off F-Troop and threw them in the flower room (so we'll see) I'm going to take some more clones around day 28 for monster cropping and to make sure I have good breeding stock.... F-Troop after mending. 20220804_085858.jpg20220804_085902.jpg20220804_085905.jpg20220804_085908.jpg20220804_085911.jpg20220804_085920.jpg

They are looking great. Hope you find your phenos again.

Ladies have about 2wks to go... I personally find most stuff takes 10wks total from flip or 8wks from the time it actually flowers before a plant is really ready (being able to chop a plant and a plant being finished are 3 different things) 20220928_203424.jpg20220928_203610.jpg20220928_203707.jpgIMG_20220929_043940_572.jpg20220928_204007.jpg20220928_203948.jpg20220928_203821.jpg20220928_203459.jpg20220930_230207.jpg
